DESIGNATION : INTERN
Swadhaar has an internship programme to provide exposure to students interested in the sector, for mutual benefit.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
Graduate/Under Graduate in Management
JOB PROFILE : The Intern's position will be based in Head office and s/he will be engaged mainly in studies and data analysis that will assist management in formulating policy in various areas and responses to emerging situations. Swadhaar will also endeavour to give the intern maximum exposure to the functioning of its branches and Head Office to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of urban microfinance. Illustratively, the Intern's work could include:
● Analysis of loans to gauge performance in terms of various factors such as location, income groups, age groups, occupation, loan purpose etc.
● Study of administrative processes to understand their effectiveness and to carry out changes, if required
● Participation in survey of new areas for opening branches
● Participation in other surveys including impact surveys that Swadhaar or its associates mighty conduct
● Help develop marketing material such as brochures, posters etc. for Swadhaar products
● Spot audit of some aspects of branch work such as counting of cash
● Scrutiny of loan applications and participation in branch credit committee meetings
● Any other assignment, which will be useful to Swadhaar and will enhance Intern's learning
Stipend : Rs 7,500 per month
LOCATION : MUMBAI
( For those unfamiliar with Mumbai, it may be noted that accommodation in Mumbai can be expensive and the stipend may not cover the costs for the same )
